Terry 

“Hair is the first impression you make.” Terry says, grinning broadly as he turns back to his client. “That’s why I love my job. You get to create first impressions.”

Terry has worked at Twin Image with his twin brother, Nick, since its founding in 1999, and he has been running the beach location since its opening in 2012. 

Along with his brother he has been a hairdresser since his teens, when they first learned the ropes of the beautification business at their father’s hairdressing salon. 

Terry didn’t just learn at the school of salon hard knocks, though – he’s studied in professional beauty schools all over Toronto and at the Sassoon Academy, and he heads to New York City yearly for educational seminars to stay up with current trends and provide exceptional service to his clients. 

He specializes in Balayage and Blonding, creating gorgeous, modern hairstyles with exceptionally beautiful colour, and he’s the most experienced stylist on offer at our beach location.

Amanda 

Amanda has been working at Twin Image since 2010, refining her craft and improving her mastery of her primary areas of expertise – short, modern haircuts, blond highlights, and flowing, bouncy layered hairstyles. Amanda is totally dedicated to providing incredible cuts and styling, and has undergone several courses of study at the Sassoon Academy.

Originally from the small town of South Porcupine, Ontario, Amanda’s outgoing personality and great attitude toward her clients have earned her the loyalty of her ever growing client base. Her clients adore her. She is a hair genius! “I love the atmosphere created in our salon,” Amanda says. “Both the team and clients make me look forward to coming into work every day.”

She specializes in custom-designing hairstyles for each client, based on understanding their diverse features, personalities and tastes. Her handiwork is certainly impressive, having been featured both on television and on the runway for Fashion Week. 

Nicole 

Nicole has been cutting hair for over 11 years, and is very experienced when it comes to understanding the particular needs of clients. Given her vast expertise, Nicole is comfortable working with both men and women, and is very popular for fantastic handiwork.

Nicole is exceptionally talented at creating classic and simple hairstyles with a modern touch, custom-designed to accent the features and personalities of each and every one of her clients. 

Her goal is simple: make sure you feel comfortable, welcome, and beautiful. “I love making my guests feel beautiful, both inside and out!” she says.
